Trend #1: Fringe

Where To See It: Rose notes S/S '15 runways like Giambattista Valli, Givenchy, and Proenza Schouler as the best inspiration.

Why It's Great: "You can’t go wrong with fringe because it's a staple trend, which means it comes back into style every spring or summer," Rose tells us.

What To Buy: "Go for a good fringe jacket or fitted skirt in leather or suede," Rose says. "And, be sure to invest in a fringe bag for spring — it's all about the fringe bag! I'd suggest a crossbody bag for day."

Styling Tip: "A denim or sheer button-down blouse that's already in your closet works well tucked into a fringe skirt," Rose says.

Trend #2: Large Brim Hats

Where To See It: Saint Laurent and By Malene Birger's S/S '15 shows were Rose's favorites for inspiration, and she loves Janessa Leone, Eugena Kim, and Glady’s Tamez Millinery for their constant supply of amazing hats.

Why It's Great: "You can invest in a good hat and wear it season after season," Rose says. "It’s just as important as wearing a nice bag or nice shoes."

What To Buy: "Stick to neutral colors, like black, white, or beige, in a straw or wool blend," Rose says.

Styling Tips: Pair it with your basics: "Jeans and a T-shirt can be so boring, but if you throw on a fab hat it makes your outfit look polished and chic without looking like you’re trying too hard," Rose says.

Trend #3: All White

Where To See It: There's no shortage of S/S '15 runways to find inspiration: Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Dior, and Viktor & Rolf each did their take on all white.

Why It's Great: "I love styling my clients in white on white because it’s chic and you can easily wear it from day to night," Rose says.

What To Buy: "Try a white trench coat, a white suit, or an intricate, detailed top," Rose says.

Styling Tip: Invest in nude undergarments, like underwear and a slip, and always step into bright light to be sure nothing is transparent.
